Kahlil Gibran

Comment: The Prophet by Khalil Gibran (a book of 26 poetic essays) - the idea was conceived when he was still a child. Emigrated to America - to Boston, in 1895. Supported by artist/photographer/publisher Fred Holland Day in his artistic efforts when a young teenager. Headmistress Mary Haskell was his lifelong supporter and friend; over 600 letters between them form part of the "Beloved Prophet" published after his death in 1972.

Famous Kahlil Gibran love quote:
"If you love somebody, let them go, for if they return, they were always yours. And if they don't, they never were."
A famous quote by Khalil Gibran which you may know well, but not have known that it came form his pen.
